Last weekend, Irena and I went to St. Petersburg, FL for a get away. We planned it about 1-2 month ago, and it was perfect timing, because I needed a break. My job has been stressful and I wanted to get away and stare at a body of water for a while. So, I booked everything and waited. First we went to the Dali Museum, then we went to Treasure Island, right on the beach, through an Airbnb place. Dali has been one of my favorite artist since high school, and I went to the museum before, but they were renovating. This time they were finished and I was excited to go! Here are a couple of pictures I took.
Famous painting dealing with melting clocks, but also sub atomic particles of Dali's landscape. This painting is pretty big, and it's one of Dali's double image painting. Venus' green skirt makes up a tie, and her breast/ torso make up a nose and chin of a toreador. The flies and dots make up his jacket.
Due to the weather being very hot, we stayed in the warm water all day. We also went sunset swimming, and night swimming in the Gulf! I never done that before and it was quite magical.
