This month I watched Blade Runner 2049 and it was visually stunning as expected. It has to be, since it is the sequel to Blade Runner from 1982, which was nominated for Best Visual Effects. It was slow and long, but worth it- my knees and feet needed to move around! My favorite parts were the backgrounds to all the cities and landscapes. The acting was surprisingly good from Jared Leto and Ryan Gosling, but my favorite, is still Harrison Ford. The story is ok, but I wanted it to go somewhere else, especially with Ryan and his lover. I wish it was more platonic or collaborative. I am a fan of IT, I read the book and watched the mini series back in 1990, but I was doubtful of the remake for some reason. I was totally wrong! I really enjoyed watching IT. The movie was funny, and made me jump a couple of times! I really liked Ben and Richie's character. There is going to be a part 2, but I wonder how that is going to turn out? IT Part 1 was all about the kids and how they survived the clown.

What the what? If GOT was an anime? I don't know if I would watch it. I read the books and watched the episodes on HBO GO, which I have accustomed to a certain look and feel. Though being a fan of anime (my favorites are Akira, Cowboy Bebop and The original Ghost in the Shell) I don't know if this kind of format would be appropriate. The fast action and music wouldn't work well, in my opinion.
